Whoa! I'm glad I asked for BTDT!
Thanks for the info. Regarding access, I remember when taking the turbo off
my 84 5kt parts car that it was an absolute nightmare of close clearance
nuts bolts and studs. I am not looking forward to this, but on the other
hand I am looking even less forward to being stranded with a burst oil
line..so I better do it.
Thanks again for the info and I will set aside a weekend to do it. It's
really a shame that I have to take so much of my (new to me) 88 5ktqa just
for one job so I guess I better take your hint and do the timing belt, water
pump, etc 'while I'm in there'
