Your comment on needing more space took me back in time. To 1986.
I am one of three children... at that time, my father was looking to replac=
e his rather unreliable Saab 900t with a new family car. Impressionable you=
th I was, I already liked the type 44 immensely (looked like the future to =
me at the age of 10!) and thus advised Dad to check out the 5000TQ- figured=
 it would be great in the MN snow we then lived in.

He thought it was too big and bulky for our needs! (kids were 10,7,and 4) a=
nd ended up with a Dodge Lancer ES Turbo...

YMMV, but I would think an Avant should definitely have enough room. Kids t=
oday don't know how good they have it WRT passenger space allotted. Example=
: My girlfriend's mother drives a Nissan Quest minivan. Because she has *ON=
E* grandchild!!

The CGT is up and zooming around again after a clutch and subframe job whic=
h took 10 weeks (I was otherwise very busy)...
