Custom Tranny Gears

I figured as much, on obtainium.  Straight cut (dog box) gears have been cut
for other VAG trannies...so maybe someone knows of some made for the 89 90q
tranny. I doubt it though.

I think if there are any different gearsets out there, they're going to be for
the 01A(?) tranny found in the Urq & 4000q...I think. The swap isn't out of the
question, but I'm from the the "torsen is good" camp.

Hmmm.  would it be possible to just swap out the final drive? thus changing the
ratio of the entire tranny?
