tranny bearing noisy

I just bought a 87 5000TQ.
There is a dry rusty noise bearing i hear close to the tranny. It s seems the
noise come from the end tranny bearing. That kind dry rusty noise like
electric motor bearing... hummm how it s possible ?

Someone had that kind of noise from a bearing ?   which bearing is ?  it happens
only when the driving shaft turn.The noise begin at 2000RPM approx. and its
frequency tell me its not the joints on the driving shaft.

Maybe i have to change end bearing on the tranny, if yes can i do it without
open the tranny.
