Audi 90 wiring issue

All,

I am certain I have a wiring problem, I just don't know where to look. The dash lights (gauges, radio, etc.) turn on with the ignition, irregardless of the headlight switch. Also, the temp and fuel level gauges are not showing accurate readings, if any at all. Do all of these wires intersect and if so where?

I did pull the plugs in the trunk that go to the trunk lid and the dash lights stayed on.

Any suggestions?
