Rotella ELC - how does this look for T44's?

Listers:

All this talk of Rotella Synthetic oil (looks good to me,
when I'm looking for winter weight, I'll look into it, I
still have 10 qts of M1 15W-50, happy with that for
summer, had run M1 10W-30 winter but I'm all out,
and if Rotella costs, less....), had me search their site.

Found out about their Extended Life Coolant (ELC),
which says its Phosphate and Silicate free (and claims
to help reduce "silicate goo"). Does this look good for
T44's (i.e. OLD)?

Just a heads up, if it's a less expensive alternative to
Pentosin (with the added possible benefit of being
extended life, minimum claim for cars/trucks designed for
ELC's is 600K miles, believe it's intended for long haul
truckers), why not?

Any opinions?

BTW - type 44 recognition by non-Audi owner story.

Stopped at an ATM late in the evening in Greenwich, CT.
A man was just getting into his Explorer, and says, "I've got
to get me one of those (motioning to my 200Q)". I said,
"They haven't made anything like these since '91, and this
is an '89". He says, "well, Audi, I mean. I'm at the age that
if I want something, I can get it. I'm looking at an A4, what
can you tell me about them...." and so on. Told him what I
know, but I was surprized that he even knew my car was
an Audi, and even in the dark! He was about late 40's to 50ish,
so I guess he's been around long enough to know about them
when they were new, but I thought most didn't really care.
(although he is a Saab owner). It was still nice to see someone
recognize the car in a world where a typical A4 owner just
simply drives by, not even recognizing their car's past heritage.
