Strut nut won't stay put (And this is why...)

This is just my opinion, but I have some BTDT.  If
there was play in the initial install, it will be
ruined in short order.  The washer/nut on the end acts
like a slide hammer/jackhammer and pounds the collar
right out of the mount.  It's only held in molded
rubber.
