Yes I've had a chance to play with a couple - kind of neat, especially whe used
with a nice cam.  I have yet to see what it does on the NG with 270 cam
installed in 4kq.

Ironically, I tried advancing and retarding for various reasons with the
264i/254e cam in MC-1 engine in tq avant and found for all around driving I
felt it best set to 0.

It did help when advanced 3 degrees for towing a heavy load, and retarded 3
deg. for 1000 mile highway trip - better fuel economy and nicer power at 3000
RPM up.

any BTDT with adjustable cam gears?   My 81 UrQ is getting lots of work ie...
  fuel injection, header, IC and IM.   What do you think about adding an
