Shame, it looks like a nice cheap tubular manifold, but the connection to
the downpipe would apear to be too far a way from the head..... wonder if it
would be easy to chop and weld???

Interesting piece.  From the orientation of the downpipe flange it
looks like a transverse-engine application.  The only such app for
an Audi 5-cylinder that I know of is the Eurovan...  Maybe that's
what it was for.
