If this is a US car there is no trip computer.  Only
the '92 S4 had a trip computer, '93-'94 S4 and '95 &
95.5 S6 don't have a trip computer.  Do you mean the
outside temperature display perhaps?  This can be
fixed w/ a radioshack lightbulb - instructions are on
urs4.com.
