Small questions about turbo swap

I am moving along well on my KH installation in my 4kq. I have been
having trouble solving two rather simple issues. First is the remote
battery lug for the firewall and the second is the heater core hose
between the block and the heater core. I know these are trivial, but
still have to get solved.
For the battery lug I know my local stereo shop will have something for
me for $$$, but I was trying to find a less expensive alternative.
Ideally I would like something that I can connect a wire to on the
inside, be isolated from the firewall, and have a post to connect in the
engine compartment. I could make this with a bolt and some delrin, but
I would prefer to buy something if it is reasonably priced. Should I
just break down and get the wiz-bang stuff they have at the stereo stores?
On the heater core issue the stock JT has a right angle fitting where
this hose goes into the block. For the KH it is straight. Both are now
perminent features of their respective blocks due to age so I can't swap
them. It is about 5/8" on the heater core end and 7/8" on the engine
end. When I got to parts or hose stores they look at me like I have
three heads (I don't) and tell me there is nothing like that. I have
walked through the racks of molded hoses at the local FLAPS and have
found nothing.
I feel like I am spending more time running around trying to find parts
than working on this project. We have our first kid on the way in 5
weeks and this is the "family car". If that is not pressure I don't
know what is.
TIA!!
