Talking about injectors installation

[passat TS]

I replaced  all the seals in a NF engine, but during the process two of the
metal caps at the nozzle came loose.

I put them back at what it seems the right position, ran compressed air
while imersing them in gas and the bubbling looks tha same as one that the
cap didn't come out (I know it's not the right way to test an injector)

Am I screwed?

The engine is out on the stand now, and I'll pull the injectors and do the
bottles test when I put it in, but is there anything I can do now? Short of
sending them to an injector shop.

I don't want to spend the money on the injector shop now since next year I'm
going EFI.
