Audi Heal Thyself!

Me too, but things happen, like the lad dropped a tool next to the sensor
saw it loose and just tighted to the torque of the day.

Another thing that came to my mind is a problem in the ECM.

Invariably all the self healing problems that happened to me were all
electric related and sooner or later they came back until I find and fix the
cause.

The most recent was with the water temperature sensor in a B5. The gauge
goes to zero after the  warm up. I took to the dealer (was under warranty)
and the sensor started to work a mile from it. Needless to say that I ended
up changing it myself later in life. I'm glad it's a $7 part.
