It is a 20V DOHC.  I just read an article about it the
Nov 17 issue of Autoweek.  The article lists all the
engine options for the golf V, present 2.5L I-5,
missing 1.8T.  What I'm thinking is that Audi is
moving away from turbos, check out the S4, allroad,
and the possible S8 mentioned on a different thread
will not have the twin turbo W12 from Bentley.  That
is just a guess, but it is based on the
maintenance/problems of the 2.7TT and America's
dislike for 4 cylinders.
