87.5 CGT parts #'s, documentation?

This is actually a help, Dave. You put it just the way I needed to hear it, that its basically an 80/90 drivetrain. I think I've been overcomplicating things.
To be honest, my interest in post-87 cars wanes, so what I know about the 88-95 cars you probably could fit in a thimble. In my mind, there is kind of a 'chinese wall' at the end of 1987. I gotta change that.
Since my orginal question--about any offical factory documentation on this orphan--went unanswered, I am surmising that there was none...I think the answers are in my garage.
Thx
Jonathan

The clutch is the same. The 092 tranie (IIRC) is basically the same as the 80/90 FWD I5 tranie. Basically the drivetrain of the 87.5 CGT is the same as the drivetrain of the 80/90 FWD I5s. I've never had any problems getting the right parts as long as I worn the person that my CGT has an NG engine code and I've very much novice wrench compared to 99.9% of those on the list (yet, somehow I'm the type85 "expert" on some other forums, crazy, huh?).

Not necessarily that straightforward...for example, the 87.5 has a different
version of the 093 tranny (092, with 108mm CV joints), different linkage for
the front sway bar, and (do not quote me on this one) I have been told a
different clutch master/slave than the earlier cars (...anyone?).
Given Audi's penchant for rolling changes, my concern is that I could make
silly assumptions and end up with a mess of new parts that I will have to
put on my '86 parts car so it doesn't feel so lonely out there in the cold
;)
I guess one of the big problems is the somewhat cryptic nature of ETKA,
since I'm still fairly new to it.
