Nah, no big secret, basically most of the Audi (and most other tachs) want to
see a stepped 0-12v signal, once for each spark event, so in an I5, it would
be 5 times per every 2 crank revolution. I believe that if you set your TEC 3
for 5 pulses per cam revolution, you'd be fine, but it may not be configured
that way. Of course, 034efi could easily be configured to solve your problem,
but that probably doesn't help ;)
I guess you'll have to experiment with it, I wonder what the guy in Santa
Barbara did with his Electromotive run V8 conversion?
