I have to agree with Alan here. A 2.5liter engine producing only 150hp
is pretty pathetic, even for the American market. Geez, the new Mazda 3
(used to be the Protege in the States) comes with a 2.3liter with 160hp.
And it's actually a very stylish vehicle now. If you don't believe me,
go to Mazda's web site and check it out. The really cool thing is that
for under $20,000 you can get a car with 17" wheels and Xenon headlights
straight from the dealer.
