Test drive in 2000 A6

I think I'm getting old. I'm at a point where I don't mind the servotronic in
my '99 A6. I know I can remove the relay, or perhaps upgrade it to the 628
relay (605 was oem in the '99), but I don't feel the need.

How screwed up is that? I removed the relay from my '92, felt as though it was
too firm at low speeds, but eventually came to enjoy it. When I bought the '99
I felt as though the steering was too light, but now have come to enjoy it. I
often wonder when my wife's CRV became such a bear at low speeds. ;-)

I don't know, I think I've softened. I'm driving a tip auto instead of a stick,
I'm digging the one finger turn out of my driveway, next thing you know, I'm
going to be shopping for an old Coupe DeVille filled with 8-track tapes.

BTW, Andrew, do you think you would've heard your water pump failing if the A6
wasn't so quiet and insulated?
