The '93-95 Audi 90 series have the 2.8L V6 12V with 172hp/184lb-ft.
It is a good, dependable car, but probably feel a bit "softer" compared
to your '87 5Ktq. The car is smaller than your 5K but weighs just as
much, so the V6 needs to be revved to get decent acceleration. It
is nice and smooth throughout the range, and is very quiet.
One nice feature over the type 44 is the split folding rear seatbacks,
which allow carrying long objects in the trunk, even though the trunk
size is smaller than that of a type 44. The limiting factor is the
lid opening size.
