Re. my installation. Just finished doing as much as I could and missing
some pieces. Mainly I am looking for a complete ash tray assembly that will
fit in the 4kq center console. Altenatively something akin to a rocket
launcher pod that fits in the space would do nicely - was there anything
else the factory ever installed in place of ashtray (now always used for
loose coins and nuts and bolts.

What else? It would be cool to have some little inserts the snap into the
place where the rear window switches were. It would be even more so if they
had a place to insert the lights for the diff lock - like little light
panels. I have no clue as to where the original diff. lock light panel is
as I found the lights hanging and identified them by process of elimination
and wiring diagram. For that matter - I don't even know where it was
originally mounted in the car, but the new place in front of shifter is
just fine - ideal for that matter.
-and/or-
I could use a fresh window switch panel for the or even a coupe panel (if
that fits the 4kq center cons.) Mine is rather ugly due to cigarette burns
from careless smoker.

Just seeing if anyone has any of this around for fair exchange. Could use
some other things as my colors don't match well - got a mix of black center
console and trim in car which has brown and the fitment of the bezel is not
great.

On this note - I now have a mostly complete stash of all the parts for '83
Ur Quattro dash (sans dash itself) that were removed to install the newer
dash. Light and window switches are good - even have the connector part
from the car with wires, in case someone needs to splice one in.

Ben
