Wiper washer not working - where is relay

With the salt starting to go on the roads up here in Massachusetts, I
really need my wiper washer working. Car is '87 5kcstq w/o intersive
washer. The wipers come on when I pull back the wiper lever, but no
washer. I cleaned up the connector on the washer reservoir and still
nothing. Where is the relay? I see an intensive washer slot with the dash
relays (no wiring) and a headlamp washer relay socket in the cowl with no
relay in it (slot 3 or 4 can't remember). Where should I be looking for
the relay? How is is connected to the wiper circuit? Any tips on where
to hook test lamp would be great as well. TIA.
