Custom bent exhaust system

I don't have a lot of Audi experience on this point, but I do have on my 
worked '89 2.2 turbo mini van. I have never dynoed it, but my e.t.'s with a weight 
of about 2800 pounds indicate 300hp. I drive it on the street for parts 
chasing, etc. I have at different times run a 2 1/2 and 3" exhaust (self 
fabricated). I don't use a muffler and rely on the turbo and cat for noise suppression. 
It is a little too loud for the Q ship impression I seek to give. More to the 
point, there is no measurable difference between the 2 1/2" and the 3".
