Jim,
  I dont personally know of any problems with the Intake valves.
 They seem to be a quality valve.  I think the problem with the
exhaust valves is in fact the fact that they are sodium filled.
That adds a weak point of potential failure to the valve where
it is detached to fill with sodium.  If it weakens or has a
defect you get a dropped valve.  Seems more prevelent on 4ktq
conversions, maybe since we spend much more time at Higher RPM's
than the 3.89 geared 5ktq's???
