A6 timing belt service?

Good morning Listers:     Today I'm looking at a 2000 A6 twin turbo quattro 
(6 speed) and wonder at what mileage the first timing belt service happens, 
and what ever other service happens at that time . Then, what is the 
approximate dealer cost for such service. The car is at 58k.

This information will help me in my negotiations for the car, if I decide 
to buy it after the test drive.

I'm looking at such a car at 5pm today, and the information will help in 
deciding on any offer.

Model-specific risks to look for  will also help. Regardless, I'll probably 
have it inspected by my independent mechanic if I like the test drive.

Normally, I'd call up my independent Audi mechanic and ask all this, but it 
is Sunday and he hibernates on weekends.
