Audi USA's official change interval for the timing belt on the 2.7T engine
is something like 102K miles. I think that is too long, and if the
belt is to break you'd have a *very* expensive mess. I'd recommend a 60K
mile change interval for some peace of mind.

Diverter valves seem to be a consumable on these cars, and the MAF sensor
also seem to go. Audi has extended the warranty coverage of the MAF
sensor on 2000 2.7Ts to 7 years/70K miles. If the car is chipped and
driven hard, then the turbos may fail prematurely. Have your mechanic
dump any DTCs from all the important control units using a VAG scan tool.
This would be helpful to determine if there are any existing issues.

There is a front bumper recall (the LQ campaign) on the A6s.
