A6 timing belt service?

I also have a 00 A6 twin.
I am having my t-belt done over Christmas break. it's
getting up on 60k. 60k has been recommended by my
mechanic. I have done all my V6's that requires a
t-belt change at that interval or very close to that.
If you can wait until christmas I can let you know the
break down. 

FYI,
My 97 A4 t-belt, waterpump, thermostat with a full
tuneup was under a grand. I have a feeling the A6 will
be a little bit more. Anywhere else I went(Boston Area
stealerships) just the t belt was $1200-1500.
