More CIS injector questions

Hey all,

With all this talk about injectors, I have a question....

On my 87 5kcstq my injectors leak, leading to a long warm-start
condition. It's really not *that* long, but is still noticeable. I'm
eventually going EFI, but that could be a year down the road. I'm
contemplating replacing my injectors with new ones.

My big worry is that I no longer have the injector cooling fan (was not
on the car since I purchased it). I've purchased a fan unit, but it
doesn't have the mounting or ducting necessary to completely install it.
So, my question would be:

Is it worth replacing the injectors if I don't have the cooling fan
installed?
