The lack of the injector cooling fan is probably a cause of your
warm start problem.  The underhood temps of the turbo cars get
pretty hot after shutoff, and those injectors and lines literally
get cooked, causing a vapor lock condition.  If your car has the
Audi recall work done (which encases all of the injector lines
in a rubber sheath), that helps the lines stay cool, but the injectors
still get quite hot.
