Propeller Shaft support bearing fix for 85 4KQ needed

Matt, you want the bracket assembly for the E30 325i. I used the version for
the 1987 E30; it seems they made some minor changes to the bracket in the
'88 model year. The later version probably fits but I *know* the earlier
version does. I've had a BMW bracket on my '87 4kq for four years and 30,000
miles, including a number of track days -- so far, so good.

buyeuroparts.com has the assembly for $29 and change last time I looked, and
I'd bet Rod at The Parts Connection has a competitive price. Pay no more!

I know there has been some discussion about this in the past.  I just
purchased an 85 4KQ for a new project and it badly neeeds a support bearing.
If the
center diff is locked it sounds like the shaft is going to come through the
floor..

Isn't there a BMW part that can be used as a replacement???
