well... its about time i replace my fuel lines.
they are rotted beyond recognition and are now
50-50 rubber,steal.
what is the stock thread on the 10vt fuel system?
im getting dash adapters for the hoses for my soon
to be efi upgrade... but ill get converters in the mean
time.
i plan on making skid plates and am rather poor
so i dont think steal braided is the way to go for me.
is a 1/4" inside diameter sufficient? or would 3/8" be
better?
im thinking of going with earl's super stock hoses.
Earl's Super Stock hose is a high quality synthetic rubber hose reinforced by a full coverage interior braided fabric sheath. This superior replacement hose for original equipment applications has recently found favor with professional racing teams. Available in red, blue or black, Super Stock is rated at 250 psi and 250o F continuous service. To prevent collapse in suction service or for very tight bends, we can supply an internal spiral reinforcing wire. Suitable for fuel, oil and water.
think that sounds good? thatd put me at about $100 canadian...
cant afford much more than that. any better suggestions?
cheaper is better... but not at a loss of quality. i want it to be
able to withstand the canadian climate after all... and my
usual abuse.
once again... thanks for all the help in advance. you guys rock
