Thanks to the QList

It would seem that I have finally resolved my brake problems thanks to
the many suggestions on the QList.

It was a combination of a bad master cylinder and one ABS sensor had
backed out slightly. I was able to check voltage output from the sensors
with a suggestion from one post, and one of them registered 0volts. So I
gave it a slight tap to push it in a little and then I got some voltage
to register. BTW, the original post said the output voltage would be AC,
but mine put out DC, and very little at that. I had my multi-meter set
to 2 volts DC (the lowest setting) and it barely registered 0.2 to 0.8
fluctuating.

Now I just have to get used to the different pedal feel with a properly
functioning master cylinder. The old one would not allow the pads to
"back off" the discs properly, and I therefore had a much "stiffer"
brake pedal. Now there is a little bit more "give" on initial braking
and no there isn't air in the lines. I used up almost 4 - 12oz bottles
flushing out the system. Also, when I stop and hold the pedal down, it
doesn't "sink" any like it would if there was air in the system.

So, thanks all. Oh, one thing I did over a year ago and recommend it to
anyone driving a mid-90s 90 series. I added external return springs for
the hand brake lever on the caliper. It really helps make sure the lever
returns to "home" better than just the internal springs.
