Oil... type and change intervals

Hi Dan,

Before you embark on your own custom program you ought to see how it might
affect Audi's warranty.  It would be a shame to nullify your warranty right
out of the box.

HST, 10K seems to be a very long interval.  There's probably some fine print
that says the 10K is based on your driving the car "lots of miles".  The
interval ought to be considerably shorter if your trips are short, for the
engine does not have time to become suitably hot for long enough to
evaporate the condensate and leakage that inevitably migrates to the sump.

Someone that knows more about this than I ought to post on this subject.

Congratulations on having a brand new, complete with new smell, new car.
