Touareg vs Cayenne, aka duh?

Speaking of touareg, I've been seeing a commercial for the Touareg
lately that does not inspire me to want one.
The ad shows a very up close gound level shot of the Touareg entering a
ditch diagonally from the left. As the car (truck?suv?) crosses the
ditch, first the front left and then the right rear tires are in the
air. Not very practical to have your tires in the air, from an off
roading perspective.
I don't expect it to have the same suspension travel as a full blown off
road race truck, but come on... It wasn't that big of a ditch....
