Doug,
There are three slide switches located on the back of the main instrument cluster
that allow you to adjust that calculation. Looking at the back of the
cluster, it is behind the tachometer. For discussion purposes, you will want to
keep the cluster in the normal upright position, so the switches will be in the lower
left hand corner when looking at the back. Assuming it is in the stock position
of 0% deviation, all 3 switches should be in the down position. To adjust the calc
by -10%, move switch 1 and 3 to the up postions.
Here is additional info for reference:
Adjustments (will increase or decrease by said amount):
+5% = 1 down, 2 up, 3 down
+10% = 1 up, 2 down, 3 down
+15% = 1 up, 2 up, 3 down
-5% = 1 down, 2 up, 3up
-10% = 1 up, 2 down, 3 up
-15% = 1 up, 2 up, 3 up
Hope I got this right.
Wes

The gas mileage calculation on my '90 cq is dead-on, but gas
mileage on the
trip computer my '86 4kcsq reads about 10% greater than
actual....and I run
out of gas with an indicated 65 miles to go to empty. *LOL*
Can the mileage calculation be adjusted for some exorbitant cost
by a
dealer??? <fingers crosses for suggestions>
TIA!!!
