Just torque the new one correctly. My MB engine suffered a complete failure
of the key because some Monkey didn't know about the torque setting and
couldn't be arsed to check.
I lost 5 pistons, 10 valves and the head.
Crank key way was slightly chipped, engine is happy with the old crank, over
three years down the line from the rebuild.
