Winter is over...

Sorry to brag on a sad day like today, but.
To follow the Canadian temperature conversion chart I sent this week,
You will be happy to know (at least those of you who really think I am
crazy) I washed my urQ and my GF Cabrio today. It may not seem
exceptional, but I washed them outside, in our snow-covered back yard.
Weather was exactly freezing point, or just above at zero Celsius.
In fact, doing this is a way for me to accept all the glitches this car
is experiencing these days; you must see how spectacular a clean and
shinny Mars Red 1983 Quattro looks at the mall parking lot when all the
other cars are silver in color (or worst still, metallic beige) with
road grime all over them.
To me, fall2002-winter2003 is really hard on my nerves. Oil leaks,
coolant leaks, hydraulic leak, clutch slip, new brakes all around, 4 new
ball joints, slow electrics, maybe a head rebuilt in the future, etc. At
least, I've got a few thumbs up from some car enthusiasts.
One of you said "why drive boring reliable cars?" Some days, I ask
myself this same question and I have lots and lots of answers!
Louis-Alain,
1983_clean and red and shinny and worth at least 20KCAN$_ Audi Quattro
