reuse EM thick washers?

Thanks.
Hey, by the way. Speaking of exhaust manifold mounting technologies, I got into the '88 5kcstq to see what the issue was with the huge exhaust leak. Turns out the number five upper stud is not there anymore. Actually I'm not sure if it is broken or if it worked its way out, as I haven't pulled the manifold off yet. I'm going in from the top, with the intake removed.
So, I think I'll be doing the blue loctite method of stud installation. Whichever the failure mode turns out to be.
Does it matter if I'm screwing the studs into helicoils, as far as using loctite is concerned? I wouldn't want the helicoil to walk its way out because it's bonded to the stud better than it is the head. I think they are under spring tension into the head tho'.
How about stud torquing? Shall I wait until I'm ready to actually put the new manifold on before I loctite the studs in place, so that when I tighten it all up the studs are torqued into the head along with the nuts on the studs?
Or, shall I torque the studs into the head (double nut method?) with the blue loctite first, and then put the EM on and torque the nuts, so the studs are properly tensioned beneath the unthreaded "shoulder" area?
I just think they shouldn't be screwed into the head finter-tight with loctite, only to break the loctite bond later when the studs potentially spin tighter as I tighten the nuts.
Yes, I may be overanalyzing this, but I don't want to be doing this job again if possible!
Thanks,
Ken
