Team Doorhandle beats me to the punch! :(

So, after sounding out the list (a few days ago) about the right tools to use
in Blau's procedure for lubing doorhandles, I was thinking I'd tackle the job
this coming weekend.

Wouldn't you know it, the doorhandle has gone non-operational on me. (It KNEW
what I was thinking, I just know it did!) So the question is: any point in
still lubing it, or should I just replace it? TIA
