2.3 NF block with MC-1 head?

Actually, I was looking at making it a turbo setup. I was wondering
how much trouble it would be, and if there would be notable gains, or a
complete waste of time and money. I expected there would be too high
compression, but was wondering is there a way around this - a cost
effective solution, like thick or special head gastket, perhaps a
spacer, or ???. Since I have a complete MC-1 engine that I am probably
going to keep since I have too much invested in it, and an NF block, I
am willing to explore the possibilities.

If there are no real gains to ba had, then no big deal, as I have a use
for the NF block. Just wondering if this might be a potential killer
motor even though it is really not much more displacement.

BTW, I don't know of any MC-1 turbo setups that used the vacuum pump.

Thanks for the replies.

Ben
