It will probably be fine, as I have a 272 with stock
springs, and have not had any problems as far as I can
tell.  I haven't tracked the car with the cam in it
yet, but I've been driving it pretty hard lately
trying to dial in the water injection.  I have had
some suspicion of valve float though, my top end is
great, but not as great as I think it should be at 22
psi and the new header.  I'd like to get some BTDT on
the valve springs from other people as well.  Also, if
anyone has a good set for sale, I would be interested.
