i have an 87 5KT that i still cant get to start consistantly
i have done all the tests that i can, and the only one that isnt on spec
is the time that the cold start injector should fire.
the ambiant air temp is low (sub freezing). the cold start injector
varies in the length of time that it fires. with the engine temp not
changing, (the motor doesnt start), the time changes from almost 10
seconds to 2 seconds to 5 seconds, and so on.
with saying all this, i think that the possible trouble could be the
thermotime switch. the only trouble is that i cant seem to find the
#%&*@^% switch location. i also cant seem to find it on my wiring
schematics.
any input would be greatly appreciated
brian
