Just because you get fuel out the filter doesn't mean fuel is getting
into the engine, but you have eliminated the fuel pump and FP relay.
Are the plugs getting wet?

Crank the engine over for 10-15 seconds, --do NOT turn off the
ignition-- so the fault codes are retained, and jumper the fuel pump
relay with a spare fuse for 3-5 seconds then remove.

You'll get a blink code from the engine light(engine block
w/lightning bolt); 4 digits long, long pause between codes, short
pause between digits. As soon as a code is repeated, it's done. Let
us know what you get- 4444 means the ECU thinks everything is yippy
skippy.

I'll place my bet on a bad timing sensor.
