You didn't say where you are located.

There's a good shop here in Columbus Ohio for rack rebuilds.  They
bore the aluminum housing and put in bronze bushings, so it will probably
last a lot longer than the stock pieces.

The name of the shop is "Steer & Gear" in Columbus Ohio.
You'll have to call at 614-231-4064 and ask how long it takes to
rebuild your rack, I'd guess not very long.  I had my '86 5kCSTQ
done by them, and it was drive it in, next day drive it out.
It has been long enough ago that I don't remember the cost, but
it was pretty reasonable including the R&R in the car.
