The seller appears to be the infamous Jim Lutz who had such a poor feedback
rating he ended operations as Strictly_German / Bergpanzer on ebay a few
weeks ago and is trying to start anew as this guy. He just changed his name
to germanpartswholesale to hide his previously poor rating.
When he advertised this chip before, he took the Australian Dyno chart,
erased the australian chip owners name on it, and put his own name on it. In
other words, he faked his dyno chart. When I asked him about this, he did
not deny that he had done this.
His credibility is in question and I received numerous other reports about
him privately from others that were not encouraging to put it mildly.
Accordingly, I will arrange for somebody to get ONE of these chips and we
will test it, but in the meantime list members should resist the temptation
to buy one of these chips from this fellow until we can publish the result.
He is not going anywhere, so if the test shows an actual positive result,
then we will all find out in due course but I am not optimistic.
Auto chip sales are a notorious for raking in money from owners who cannot
resist the lure of easy horsepower and breeding grounds for fakery. We have
actual proof of fakery in this case.
