Pinging NG?

Yea, it may not blink, but you would notice a
significant loss of power.  Are your sure it's
pinging?  I had a worn didtributer on my car that
rattle and sounded a lot like the engine was knocking.
 When I first did the turbo swap, I admit to thinking
the distributer had gone again, when it was really
pinging pretty bad.  I really didn't know what it
sounded like at the time.  Now If I ever hear it I
know it's time to get the laptop out, or never use the
gas station I previously filled up at again.  Do your
plugs look normal, or are they pitted and broken up?
If its pinging like you say they should be in pretty
bad shape.
