I've recently read that for Bosch Fuel Injection, if you are in a cold
environment (winter in the north) that the closer to TDC your timing is the
better cold starting you will get. Like in the 4kq with 6 degrees BTDC its
recommended to back that down to 3 BTDC or even 0. Its also stated that if
you are timed way BTDC (10-20 degrees) you can experience kick back and ruin
the starter. I am in winter temps of -10 to +15 all winter and my car is
outside 24-7. What is everyones take on this?

TIA,
DJ
