Sylvania 9004 ST in Audi 200?

    The Local checker guys got me a set of these lights (silver stars) for =
my '86 4KQ for my birthday two weeks ago.  Do they work as claimed?  Yes, i=
s it enough to cover up the crappy design of the DOT headlights?  Not even =
close, but I still think they are far better then what I have had in the pa=
st.  What I notice is that the light is much whiter and somewhat brighter.
    There was a post recently about the poor design of the DOT headlights, =
it became obvious to me that either a good set of auxiliary driving lights =
under the bumper or the EURO conversion is needed, even with these lights. =
 I have had my highbeams on constantly now (not sure if that is good or bad=
) and have NEVER been flashed!  I do live out in the country where I am alw=
ays praying for a full moon to light my way home, lest I encounter a deer o=
r some other animal.
