90Q still stuck in the middle of nowhere.

Hi All,
I'm having no luck dealing with that broken 1988 90Q that's stuck in the
mountains. I think if I can get it to Grand Junction (100 miles away) I
can donate it to charity. Other options include:

Talking the mechanic into taking it.

Fixing it on the spot (in the snow/cold on the side of the road in a
small mountian town with no auto parts store.)

Towing it back to Durango (over an 11,000 foot mountain pass) and storing
it at a friend's house until it can be fixed, maybe in the spring.

Trying to tow it back to my place, which would mean renting a dolly,
and hauling it back with my Aerostar over the devide, hoping for good
roads and good weather, and that my Aerostar doesn't blow up towing that
thing, albeit slowly... Assuming I can even dolly it with the broken
front control arm and the driveshaft disconnected.

If I were to try to fix it, or maybe to get the local mecahnic to fix it,
I suppose I should get as many parts as possible and bring them there.
What cars front control arms, tie rods, etc. are compatible with a 1988
90Q? 80's and 90's? 4k's?

It seems like I'm going to be spending $300-400 to make a $0 car into a
$500 car and taking a lot of time and trouble and risk to do it :-(.

Thanks for listening,
-Joel
