Headlights- rectangular euros

Tim,

I installed the H4/H1 quad euro rectangular headlights in my '83 5kT with
great results.  The units I have are the Hellas.  I believe I bought them
from New Dimensions about 5 years ago.  In order to use the existing
harness, you need to switch all three wires around in the connector of the
H4 unit, if the lights do not come with an adapter.  One of the H4 lights I
bought came with the needed adapter, one did not.  However to do a good job,
not use the original harness in the car- use the updated relayed add on
harness that everyone here always talks about when the subject of euro
lights comes up- I fried the headlight switch on my car with only the
standard low wattage bulbs.  The pattern is excellent- well defined cutoff
when dipped, great huge light output when the mains are on.
I definately recommend this to all of you quad rectangular headlight users
out there!

Has anyone tried the Cibie or Hella rectangular 4 light DOT replacements?
