Has anyone come across a way to install the O2 sensor in the exhaust manifold
instead of the cat converter?  I am wanting to do away with the cat converter
as they are so expensive and the bolts holding the cat to the pipes have to
be cut away each time you R&R the O2 sensor.  I dont live where emissions are
required (boondocks) but still want to have the O2 work with the ECU and
Control Pressure Accuator.  So i was thinking if its possible to thread a
hole in the lowest portion of the ex. pipe so that you get the best reading
from all cylinders.

Anyones help would be great
